The Great American Cleanup Registration Form is now online at www.khcbonline.org   Main Event Saturday, April 16, 2011                  - Arrive between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m to sign-in and receive supplies              - Wear closed-toed shoes                         *some sites may recommend water shoes               - Volunteers can receive community service hours              - T-shirts or tote bags available while supplies last              - Canoes and kayaks welcome at certain locations                 **Volunteers will be pre-registered on a first-come, first-serve basis.**   For a list of locations near you CLICK HERE.   For more information, contact Daisy Packer at  (813) 960 - 5121 or khcb2@yahoo.com    Pete is on FACEBOOK!   Be sure to make Pete the Pelican Pirate your friend and be the first to know about new KHCB volunteer opportunities, see pictures, and more.                              Saturday, March 26th                             Lowry Park Boat Ramp                               7525 N Blvd, Tampa                                   9:30am - 2pm      Family fun day focused on innovate ways to recycle in Tampa!    Includes:    RECYCLE REGATTA.... watercraft made from recycled/reused materials will be paddled up the Hillsborough River in three heats.  Competitors include local high schools, colleges, and businesses and other groups.    TRASHFORMATIONS TAMPA BAY.... Experience the art of recycling with local youth and artists submitting pieces made from reused or recycled material.  Winning selections will be displayed for public viewing at the Florida Aqurium from March 26-April 2.      RECYCLING EXPO.... Enjoy local vendors who have recycling tips to share.    RECYCLING COLLECTION....
