MORE HEALTH and DentaQuest Foundation launched the “Are You Mouth Wise?” campaign this week to promote oral health in our community.
There is also a contest to win $1,000 at www.areyoumouthwise.com!
The target group for the campaign is mothers, ages 18-44. The campaign is being promoted through several outlets:
www.areyouMouthWise.com (where the contest entry is located)
- PSAs on 6 Clear Channel radio stations
- PSAs 8 Clear Channel websites
- Jingle Ball Music Concert at St. Pete Times Forum on December 12
- Momslikeme.com
- Studio10 interviews
The buzz has already started. Mothers from www.momslikeme.com are writing questions to find out more information about oral health, where they can go and where their children can go to get dental care, and much more. Below is an example of the information being shared with the public to describe the website and promote the campaign.
“Are you MOUTH WISE? The #1 chronic medical condition facing children today is dental decay. Tooth decay can cause many problems including pain, difficulty eating, speech problems, low self-esteem, greater risk of heart disease, and premature births. Dental decay is PREVENTABLE! Click here to learn tips on how you can keep your teeth and your child’s teeth healthy. Check out our oral health coalition newsletter and join us at our next meeting.
Enter our contest to win $1,000 and remember, a healthy mouth promotes a healthy body!”
