Program
Announcement 'An
Introduction to Landscaping for Florida's Wildlife',
Wednesday, September
16th .... 7 - 8:30 p.m. Hillsborough Co
Extension office, 5229 CR 579, Seffner FL 33584
This will be the
second in a series of three classes concerning wildlife around homes and
communities. (If
you missed the first class don't worry, these classes are designed to build on
each other or stand alone) We will address the
'Ten Specific
Steps to Creating a Wildlife-Friendly Landscape'
Using a typical home site in Hillsborough County as an example we will design,
step by step, a Florida native landscape plan that mimics one of our natural
plant communities and has the potential to provide wildlife and plant habitat
appropriate for our region. While there is no
charge for this program we ask you to contact Carol Carson, 813-744-5519 x104 to
register. Thanks for your help
and consideration ... Rob

"Conservation is not concerned only with the natural resources of the earth. Rightly understood, it includes also the relation of these resources and their scarcity or abundance to the wretchedness or prosperity, the weakness or strength of peoples, their leaning towards war or towards peace, and their number and distribution over the earth." Gifford Pinchot
I recently came across your blog and have been reading about landscaping. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
