The
Hillsborough Education Foundation, Inc. seeks a Programs Specialist. This
position reports to the Programs Director. The Programs Specialist is
responsible for the recruitment, training and retention of mentors for the Take
Stock in Children program. The incumbent also implements the KnowHow2Go
initiative through giving presentations to local organizations and working with
Hillsborough County Public School personnel. This position is responsible for
supporting the Hillsborough Reads program, Project SUCCESS and other programs
with data collection, analyzing results, and reporting.
Requirements:
Self-starter, able to assess and quickly make decisions, problem-solver.
Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills. Strong
organizational, math and analytical skills. Ability to work well independently
as well as part of a team. Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Minimum 3
years experience in volunteer management or recruitment. Experience in public
speaking, presentations, or sales. Experience in analyzing data & evaluating
results. Experience working with educational institutes a plus. Some college a
plus. Bi-lingual a plus.
